Race Information
Join us for the first Spokane Spring Sprint, organized by the Inland Empire Sled Dog Association! It’s a great chance to dive into the excitement of dog-powered sports at Spokane Riverside Park. There will be loads of fun events for both you and your dogs, like canicross, scooter, bikejor, and cart/rig classes.
The event runs over two days, starting at 8:30 AM on March 28 and 8:00 AM on March 29. Make sure to hit the mandatory Driver's meeting at 8:30 AM on Saturday to find out the starting order and times for the day.
The trails are 12 feet wide, mostly flat, and dirt, perfect for racing! We’ll kick things off with the largest classes and work down to the smallest ones. Classes might be combined to save time, so don’t be surprised if you see multiple classes on the trail at once.
Don’t forget to submit your entries by March 26. We’ll accept race day entries for a little extra fee, but those will go at the end of the starting order.
Also, we need at least three entries for the mid-distance class by March 20 to make it happen, so get those registrations in! Can’t wait to see you and your pups there!
Please remember that all vehicles parked at the park, including guests and spectators, are required to have a Discover Pass. The fee for a pass is $11.50 per day or $50 for an annual pass. If you already possess an annual pass, you do not need to purchase another one. You can buy a Discover Pass at the race site. For more information, please visit http://www.discoverpass.wa.gov/
